What would you tell your younger self? Don’t Rush Girl Slow down and take in the scenery!

What was your major in college? I majored in Nursing and Minored in English. I was afraid of Student Loans and got a job at a Dealership to pay for college. Never left the car business after that. My passion for this industry started out of necessity and then it was too hard to think of leaving it. As time went by I looked for the “Perfect Fit” and found it here.

What was your inspiration and what helped you become successful? How do you define success? Happiness defines success in my opinion. That looks different for everyone. Chasing what brought a smile to my face a laughter to my day made me successful.

How do you balance your work and personal life? Often times one has more importance, and we’re curious to know how you’ve handled the balance. Money is replaceable, but time is not. When it’s “Family Time” do not sacrifice it. Be there it will make up for the hours that you’re not.

What is your favorite quote? The Serenity Prayer…. “God grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference.”

What’s your favorite part of your job and why? I love the car business and cars in general so just incorporating the two is the best for me. Everything from negotiating a sale to driving some of the coolest cars known to mankind.

What is your favorite hobby? I am a nerd at heart so I like to explore new places, visit museums, zoos, and read.

What advice do you want to give the next generation of women leaders? There are 24 hours in the day…. Manage them, manipulate them, to fit you!

What does leadership mean to you? Encouragement to do more to try a different road.

What’s your advice on mentoring? If you can do it. You never know how many people you can affect and how your story can resonate with someone else. Do not hold back the bad because those are the best growth stories.

What’s your favorite ice cream? Mint Chocolate Chip

Is there any other information that you think Girl Talk members would benefit from? This is a different Generation coming up…Encourage questions and push back.
