Girl Talk is hosting our inaugural, Live Confidently, Lead Fearlessly Luncheon on Thursday, November 7th from 11am-1pm at Cox Enterprises.
We will be honoring outstanding women and girls in the Atlanta community that embody our core values of Leadership, Inclusion, Authenticity and Service.
Currently, only 21% of girls believe they have the qualities to be a good leader. With your support, we can impact even more girls to live confidently, lead fearlessly, and grow into women who support and encourage one another.

Girl Talk celebrated International Day of the Girl (October 11th) by relaunching the Girl Talk brand with a new logo, tagline (Leadership Defined), marketing materials, and 2 new videos!

Teen Advisory Board: Oldcastle Building Solutions (August 2017)
The Girl Talk Teen Advisory Board was hosted by Oldcastle, where Girl Talk Board Member Reide Onley serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Digital Operations. Members met with Director of Brand Management Mary Beth Sharp and Director of Digital Marketing Heather Pacinelli.

Vineyard Vines Give Back (August 2017)
The Girl Talk Team had a "whale" of a time at the Vineyard Vines Give Back at Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta, GA! The store team served special snacks and shared information about Girl Talk with each customer that came in from 4:00-8:00 pm, offering them the opportunity to learn more and give 20% of the proceeds from their purchase back to Girl Talk. EMPOWER Running + Yoga Festival (August 2017)
Girl Talk teamed up with Titanium Racing and Empowered Events for the 2-day EMPOWER Running + Yoga Festival in San Francisco, donating a portion of the proceeds from registration to Girl Talk and partnering up with us on social media to share fitness tips for girls and women. We had a great time participating virtually from our home base in Atlanta and are grateful for Titanium Racing's support!
Thirty-One National Conference (July 2017)
The Girl Talk Team joined our national mission partner, Thirty-One Gifts, in Columbus, OH to celebrate five years of partnership and share our mission with the women of Thirty-One Gifts--plus special appearances by our 2017 National Leader of the Year, Jathusha "JJ" Mahenthirarajan, who got to speak on the main stage for 8,500+ attendees!
Google Made with Code: Wonder Woman Coding Party (July 2017)
In honor of Wonder Woman, this summer's blockbuster, Made with Code and Google partnered to create a special coding workshop for girls ages 13-18 to teach them about coding and show them how it was used in the new movie. Our girls were thrilled to be invited and to have the opportunity to learn and network with the women of Google Atlanta, including our board member Hetal Gordon!
Atrium University (July 2017)
Atrium Staffing, a national staffing/recruitment firm, joined forces with Girl Talk this summer in Iselin, NJ to pilot "Atrium University," a professional development workshop for our Girl Talk Leaders. The girls learned best practices for resumes, cover letters, social media, LinkedIn profiles, networking, and more, gaining unique insights to share with their Chapters and to put them a step ahead, wherever their future takes them.
GRAMMY Museum/Taylor Swift (June 2017)
This summer, the GRAMMY Museum in Mississippi invited the Girl Talk founder Haley Kilpatrick to lead two Girl Talk-inspired workshops, one for middle school and high school girls and one for parents and educators of those age groups. The S.H.I.N.E. Experience workshops incorporated the works of inspiring female singers/songwriters, from Taylor Swift to Beyonce, to encourage girls to

Girl Talk Camp (June 2017)
Girl Talk Camp is a one-week day camp offered annually in Atlanta, GA for girls in rising 4th-8th grades to grow their confidence, make new friends, and discover their power to be a leader, all under the guidance of real Girl Talk Leaders and Alumnae! This year's activities included hearing from inspirational speakers like The "Amazing" Tei Street, creating unique Vision Boards to set future goals and dreams, and offering community service opportunities with nonprofit organizations in the Greater Atlanta Area. Mommy & Me Princess Tea (May 2017)
Held at the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, our annual Mommy & Me Princess Tea is a fun, family event that highlights the strength of all girls. High schoolers share their voices and talent in musical performances of some of our favorite characters, showing what it means to be brave, curious, adventurous, and kind. Yeah! Burger Fundraiser (April 2017)
Girl Talk’s Teen Advisory Board hosted a Feel Good Tuesday Fundraiser with Yeah! Burger where 10% of sales were donated to Girl Talk. By asking their friends and families to come out and support us, we were able to raise funds for programs, while sharing great food and good times with the amazing Girl Talk Family. Thank you, Yeah!
