Katie Hull is the Vice President of Revenue Strategy at VayKLife, a company transforming
the vacation rental industry through premium amenity management and guest experience
programs. Previously, Katie spent nearly a decade at UPS in strategy, marketing, and
innovation roles, and before that, she worked in a series of technology startups in the US
and internationally.
Katie holds a Bachelor’s degree from New York University and an MBA from Emory
University. She is passionate about supporting the development and advancement of
women and girls and is proud to serve on the Girl Talk board to help inspire the next

Dr. Kara A. Loftin brings over 25 years of passion and dedication to education. As the Head of School at The Schenck School and Executive Director of Read Source, she embodies a commitment to empowering students with exceptionalities. In addition to serving on the Board of Girl Talk, she serves on the Board for the Dyslexia Alliance for Black Children.
A sought-after speaker, Kara shares her expertise on strengths-based education and learning differences at national conferences. Her influence extends globally, having led workshops in Kuwait, India, and Japan, touching the lives of educators, parents, and students alike. She has authored articles for Edutopia, including insightful pieces on teacher retention, literacy scaffolding, and strengths-based IEPs. Kara's scholarly work, published in esteemed journals such as Assessment for Effective Intervention and T-Care, underscores her commitment to advancing the field of special education.
Earning an MBA from the University of Maryland University College and a Master of Education degree in Special Education, Dyslexia Concentration from Fitchburg State University, she also completed a Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Kara is a certified Dyslexia Practitioner (International Dyslexia Association and Wilson Reading System) and holds certification as a Structured Literacy Specialist (CERI).
Kara is particularly passionate about helping young girls grow into confident women. She remains steadfast in her mission to uplift and amplify the potential of every young person she encounters.

As Executive Vice-President of Shared Services and CFO at The Kellen Company, she leads global finance and accounting operations for more than 100 managed trade associations, overseeing a $200 million portfolio. Abiola’s prior roles include CFO of the National Black MBA Association and senior finance positions at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and Chicago Housing Authority. Lindsay Cross is a corporate attorney and partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP), where she advises public and private companies on securities law compliance, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. She also serves as cohiring partner for BCLP’s Atlanta office and works closely with the firm’s Women’s Board to support recruitment, development, and engagement initiatives.
Lindsay’s background includes significant in-house experience, having served as Corporate Counsel for a NASDAQ listed global company and later as General Counsel for a private software company. Earlier in her career, she supported technology and security operations at NATO Special Operations Headquarters in Mons, Belgium.
