What would you tell your younger self? Never ever give up!!!!!

What was your major in college? My major was Computer Science. Before coming to Cox Automotive I spent many years climbing the retail ladder in the automotive business.

What was your inspiration and what helped you become successful? How do you define success? My inspiration was the passion for the business. I love what I do. I want to be the best that I can be. Success to me is being looked up to by my peers as being great at what I do.

How do you balance your work and personal life? Often times one has more importance, and we’re curious to know how you’ve handled the balance. I spent many years putting work ahead of personal life. I realized that I was not able to regain that personal time. Although you have to put in the work to be successful, don’t forget that your mental well being is critical to success as well.

What’s your favorite part of your job and why? My favorite part is helping others perform better, I love watching others succeed as well.

What is your favorite hobby? Hiking

What advice do you want to give the next generation of women leaders? Never forget that you were once at the bottom of the ladder. True leaders care about those they a fortunate enough to have the opportunity to lead.

What does leadership mean to you? Guiding, leading the way, never asking someone to do what your not willing to or can do yourself.

What’s your advice on mentoring? It’s one of the most rewarding things you can possibly do.

What’s your favorite ice cream? Chocolate!
