What would you tell your younger self?
Take time to rest and don’t put so much pressure on yourself! Embrace and accept yourself!
What was your major in college and how did you get to the position you are in today?
Accounting. I asked people a few steps ahead of me what the best start to your accounting career and then have continued to ask for advice as I’ve progressed in my career.
What was your inspiration and what helped you become successful? How do you define success?
My parents, especially my Dad. He did an incredible job growing up of doing an awesome job at his job, while being an incredible Dad too. Whenever I think of who I want to be in the workplace when I grow-up, I often think of my Dad. Success to me is whether or not I showed up and was a gift to the people I encountered that day. It’s easy for high achievers, especially accountants, to forget that we are first people, but ultimately people need to be first.
What is your favorite quote?

What’s your favorite part of your job and why?
I love the people side of things. Getting to know people and being able to help is what I’m passionate about, and I get to do that every day in one way or another!
