What was your inspiration and what helped you become successful? How do you define success? I find inspiration from my peers, mentors and other role models. I define success as doing your best at something you enjoy. Surround yourself with people who cheer you on and keep you motivated.

How do you balance your work and personal life? Often times one has more importance, and we’re curious to know how you’ve handled the balance. You can do anything but you cant do everything. I think the word balance is misleading, they are not always perfectly equal and that is okay. I find it helpful to set goals and boundaries for both.

What’s your favorite quote? “If there is no wind, row”

What’s your favorite part of your job and why? Collaborating, I feel very fortunate to work beside such great individuals and joining together to find a solution is a great feeling.

What is your favorite hobby? Yoga

What advice do you want to give the next generation of women leaders? Believe in yourself, you are capable of amazing things!

What does leadership mean to you? To me it means empowering people, leading by example and bringing out the best in everyone.

What’s your advice on mentoring? My advice on mentoring is to embrace it with open arms. As both a mentor and mentee I have learned so much, everyone has something to teach. I encourage you to connect with people who have different skills or different perspectives and find ways to help each other grow.
