What would you tell your younger self? Always strive to become better by giving back and helping the community.

What was your major in college? BA Liberal Arts, Minor in Communications. I started my career as a business owner managing all the day to day activities wearing many hats as a small business owner for over 20 years before taking the leap to work for a corporation.

What was your inspiration and what helped you become successful? How do you define success? Growing up was difficult as my parents got divorced early in my childhood. I grew up most of my childhood living with my grandparents and had to start early working which created a sense of urgency as I did not want to depend on others.

How do you balance your work and personal life? Often times one has more importance, and we’re curious to know how you’ve handled the balance. Its really difficult due to the business that I am in, but I make it a priority to shut work off each day to enjoy my family’s time.

What is your favorite quote? “Every win is a win!”

What’s your favorite part of your job and why? The people and our clients.

What is your favorite hobby? Relaxing at the beach and spending time with my family.

What advice do you want to give the next generation of women leaders? Always look ahead while becoming the best for your careers.

What does leadership mean to you? Leadership for me is working with my team members to help them become leaders.
