What would you tell your younger self?

Do not dim your light for anyone, no matter what. Keep shining bright regardless.

What was your inspiration and what helped you become successful? How do you define success?

Realizing life is too short to be anything but happy. To me, success is when you are able to wake up every day and do something you enjoy.

What is your favorite quote?

“Don’t fear failure, fear regret.”

What’s your favorite part of your job and why?

Getting to inspire and motivate people I encounter because I’ve been told I’m really good at it!

What is your favorite hobby?

Making music. I’m a recording artist in my personal life.

What advice do you want to give the next generation of women leaders?

Do not minimize yourself in order to be digestible for others. Do not worry yourself with what others think of you, that is their business. The only person you should be concerned about being better than, is the person you were yesterday.

What does leadership mean to you?

Inspiring others to keep moving forward.

What’s your advice on mentoring?

I have been both a mentee and mentor. You can learn something from everyone. Never stop learning and never turn down the opportunity to build a connection with someone through mentorship.  You never know the value they could bring.

What’s your favorite ice cream?

Chocolate chip Cookie dough. Yum!

Is there any other information that you think Girl Talk members would benefit from?

In a world where you can be anything, be yourself. Always be kind, you never know when you are the force to change someone’s life for the better. Don’t try to fit in, you were born to stand out!
